Dear AGAC whanau,
Thanks to your prayers, we came back to NZ safely on Monday. Just 20 hours before our flight, we received a notification from Air NZ that our flight was cancelled! At that time, we were in the middle of Tokyo and were a bit lost. We managed to call Air NZ after many troubles. My son, Yohane, tried to negotiate with them, but they told us we cannot return until Thursday. He did an incredible job, and finally they told us we could return early in the morning via HK. But when we arrived in the airport next morning, they told us there were no seats available for 2 people. All we could do was standby and pray. Just 20 minutes before the flight, two seats became available. We were upgraded to Business class to HK! We were so relieved. We thank God for making it possible for us to come home.
While we were in Nagano, we enjoyed skiing. It was beautiful and snow was very powdery. But after that, we caught a bad cold, and I was not feeling well. But my brother who lives in Tokyo also joined for 2 nights and we managed to spend some time with our family. My son enjoyed cycling around Hiroshima.
Thanks once again and I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
Nga mihi
Yukiko
